WB President Jim Yong Kim to visit Vietnam

(VNF) - World Bank President Jim Young Kim will visit Vietnam on February 23rd to launch the "Vietnam 2035 - Toward Prosperity, Creativity, Equity, and Democracy", a joint report by the Government of Vietnam and the World Bank Group.

Dr. Kim will also meet with Vietnam’s leaders to discuss the Vietnam-WBG partnership. He is expected to discuss with Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, State President Truong Tan Sang, and Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung how the Bank can boost its support to help the country achieve its aspirations.

The World Bank Group President will be accompanied by World Bank East Asia and Pacific Regional Vice President Axel van Trotsenburg.

The report launching ceremony is scheduled to begin at 9:00 am at Sheraton Hotel, Au Co road, Tay Ho district, Hanoi./.
