The most recent partnership in this field is a deal with the Philippines' largest air carrier: Cebu Pacific Airlines.

The promotion was in the form of an article introducing sights of interests and cuisines in Ho Chi Minh city, featured on the March issue of the air carrier's SMILE magazine.

With the title “12hr in the city’s latest creative hub”, (page 18), readers are guided through a half-day tour in Dakao ward, Dist.1, HCM.City with Tuan Le, an American Vietnamese entrepreneur who has been living in Vietnam in five years.

From local specialties for breakfast to ideal restaurants for lunch and dinner and entertaining activities for day and night, the article brings to its readers a distinctively vibrant, dynamic and culturally rich image of Vietnam's biggest city.

Via the sponsored article, the Embassy of Vietnam in the Philippines hope to help increase the number of tourists from the Philippines and other countries to Vietnam, since CEB, a dominant air carrier in the Philippines, currently offers flights to various international destinations, spanning Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and USA./.
