This year the International Meeting of Coexistence and Universal Brotherhood takes place in the Municipality of San Miguel de Allende, with the purpose of coexistence between more than 30 different countries with the participation of more than 40 ambassadors.

Representations of all the Continents are made during this meeting. During a week, this town becomes “The World House of Culture” with the diplomatic participation of different countries.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Mexico, Nguyen Hoai Duong, and his spouse in traditional ao dai and conical hat joined the parade passing through historic streets of the city - a world cultural heritage site in 2008 by UNESCO.

Jesús Gonzalo González, mayor of San Miguel de Allende emphasised that the city is a Cultural Heritage of Humanity and the Twinning of the Universal Culture of Mexico with the World.

He also expressed his appreciation for Vietnam's participation, thus enhancing the understanding and cultural exchange between the people of Vietnam and Mexico in particular and between countries in general.

The culture week includes 25 art programs with the participation of 440 Mexican and international artists.

San Miguel de Allende is a beautiful colonial town famous for its well-preserved historic character and is one of Mexico´s many World Heritage Sites. It is now one of the most popular cities for artists and retired expatriates./.
