Thanks to the sponsorship of the Angola Embassy in Vietnam and the support of many African Embassies in Vietnam, VIAF has actively connected relevant agencies and enterprises to build “Vietnam – Africa Business Portal”.

Angola Ambassador to Vietnam Joao Manuel Bernando said the business portal was developed by a group of Vietnamese who see the potentials for cooperation between Vietnam and Angola.

The Ambassador greatly supported the project, adding that Angola is a very potential investment market as possessing rare and valuable woods, rich in minerals (Angola is the fifth largest diamond producer in the world), being the second largest oil producer in Africa. The business environment in Angola is very attractive with new rules favorable to foreign direct investment and domestic investment.

Ambassador Joao Manuel Bernando hopes Vietnamese businesses to see clearly the benefits that Angola brings, thereby expanding investment and cooperation between the two countries.

For his part, Mr. Bui Viet Hung, VIAF’s Director, said in recent years, trade cooperation between Vietnam and African countries have been continuously expanded and African countries to be a promising market for Vietnam.

Enterprises that are seeking information about Angola or Africa in large can access .  Here, they will find a lot of useful information such as geographical conditions, administrative agencies, potentials, challenges; contacts of potential partners; legal support; culture and customs.

In addition, fairs and exhibition will be held annually in Angola and Vietnam, helping business of the two countries to exchange culture and introduce products, promote images of Angola.
