Sympathies sent to Cuba on big losses in hurricane Irma

The top leaders of Vietnam on September 11th offered sympathies to Cuba on the big losses caused by hurricane Irma in the Caribbean country.

The sympathies were sent by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Tran Dai Quang and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc to Raul Castro Ruz – First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee, President of the Council of State and President of the Council of Ministers of Cuba.

Cuban media reported on September 10th that Irma, the strongest hurricane ever recorded in the Atlantic Ocean, affected all localities but did not cause human losses in the country.

Power was shut off in big cities of Cuba, including the capital of Havana, as the hurricane brought down trees and power lines./.
