Samaritan's Purse presents gifts to Yen Bai’s kindergarten

(VNF) - On April 3rd, a delegation of the Samaritan’s Purse International Relief (SPIR), led by SPIR Vietnam’s Director, Matthew Eric Swenson, visited and presented teaching equipment to Hoa Phuong kindergarten in Pa Hu commune, Tram Tau district, Yen Bai province.

Classroom teaching supplies was deliverd to Hoa Phuong Kindergarten in Pa Hu commune, Tram Tau district, Yen Bai province.

This event is part of the project "Comprehensive Early Childhood Development for Children in Hoa Mai kindergarten in Phinh Ho Commune and Hoa Phuong kindergarten in Pa Hu Commune, Tram Tau District, Yen Bai Province."

The objective of the project is to improve the learning and living environment for children in kindergartens in Phinh Ho and Pa Hu communes.

Hoa Phuong Kindergarten is equipped with necessary teaching and learning equipment such as student desks, toy cabinets, student lockers, hot water heaters, teaching boards, crayons, toys, etc. with the total value of VND 210 million (USD 9,240).

U.S.-based Samaritan’s Purse International Relief started its operation in Vietnam in 1996.

The non-governmental organisation provides aid to people living under difficult circumstances through humanitarian programmes, involving the operation for children with harelips and cleft palate, the building of schools, the grant for scholarships, and disaster relief, and others./.
