During the meeting, two sides recalled the agreement of cooperation signed in November 2017, which has opened new opportunities for students exchange. Currently, four MSLU students majoring in Vietnamese language is doing internship at ULIS, and one ULIS student is studying in MSLU.

At the meeting, Irina Arkbhadievna Kraeva, Rector of MSLU, expressed her expectation of extending the fields of cooperation. In details, MSLU is offering Bachelor, Master and Doctorate programme (Interpretation major), besides a variety of majors in humanity. The institution therefore looks forward to receiving not only students of the Russian language faculty, but also those from other faculties of ULIS, to take part in internship programme and other interpretation courses in MSLU.

In addition, in the last two years, MSLU has added Vietnamese language to their interpretation curriculum, and hoped to receive the supports from ULIS to tackle the shortage of quality Vietnamese language interpreters in Russia.

On behalf of ULIS, Vice Rector Ngo Minh Thuy expressed her wish that MSLU will provide ULIS with valuable supports to develop the Russian language major in ULIS, adding that students in other faculties are lacking information regarding studying in Russia in general and MSLU in particular. Therefore, the two sides need to enhance the exchange and broadcast of information in this field. Furthermore, ULIS will do its utmost to create all favorable conditions for Russian students to take part in the school's internship programme, short course, and vice versa./.
