Photo exhibition on Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa, Truong Sa

The Ministry of Information and Communications, the Hoa Binh provincial People’s Committee on October 5th co-opened a photo exhibition in Hoa Binh province titled “Hoang Sa and Truong Sa - Historical and legal evidence”.

The exhibition was attended by Mr Pham Hong Hai, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications; Tran Dang Ninh, Standing Deputy Secretary of Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee; and Nguyen Van Chuong, Vice Chairman of Hoa Binh provincial People’s Committee.

The exhibition includes nearly 100 maps, documents, materials, publications and artifacts, proving Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos with their authenticity corroberated by domestic and foreign scholars.

The exhibits are in the Han (classical Chinese), Vietnamese and French languages issued by Vietnamese feudal states, the French government in Indochina and other foreign countries since the 16th century.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Mr. Pham Hong Hai said the event was contributing to raising public awareness, especially the people of Hoa Binh province in national protection and construction.

As scheduled, the exhibition will run until October 9th at the Hoa Binh Cultural Palace./.
