PM successfully concludes his visit to Germany, Netherlands

On the morning of July 12, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his spouse and the high-ranking delegation of Vietnam arrived in Hanoi, successfully wrapping up their visit to Germany and Netherlands.

PM’s visit to Germany from July 5-8 has achieved many positive results, boosting bilateral cooperation and friendship, especially economic, trade and investment cooperation.

During his time in Germany, the PM talked with German Chancellor Angela Markel and German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier; held a dialogue with a number of leading Germany businesses; and attended and delivered speech at the Vietnam-Germany Business Forum.

The Vietnamese leader was the keynote speaker of the discussion on sustainable development, climate change, and energy, at the G20 Summit in Hamburg. On the sidelines of the event, PM Phuc had official meetings with President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in, Prime Minister of Australia Malcolm Turnbull, Indonesian President Joko Widodo, Indian PM Narendra Modi, President of the European Council Donald Tusk and President of the European Commission Jean Claude Juncker, amongst other senior officials.

During the official visit to the Netherlands from July 8-11, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc held talks with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte. PM also attended the Vietnam – Netherland Business Forum with the participation of nearly 400 enterprises.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc also cut the ribbon to inaugurate the new headquarters of the Vietnamese Embassy in La Haye and talked intimately with the embassy staff and many representatives of Vietnamese  community inNetherlands.

The official visit to Germany, the G20 Summit and the official visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has been a great success, creating more momentum for the development of ties. Traditional friendship between Vietnam and Germany; Vietnam-Netherlands.
