Kim Jong Un has affirmed that the North Korea’s missiles test on August 6 was conducted to  “send an adequate warning to the joint military drill now underway by the U.S. and South Korean authorities”, as KCNA reported.

The new type of the missiles in this fourth test was the “tactical guided missiles” which was shot from the western area into the east coast of North Korea after South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff expressed the consideration that two projectiles was "assumed to be short-range ballistic missiles".

According to KCNA, Kim observed the missile test and it was “clearly verified the reliability, security and actual war capacity”.

The North Korea’s tactical guided missiles test occurred although the US made efforts to calm down after the three missiles launches in last week which President Donald Trump said it was “very standard” and left a door for nuclear talks while continue deploying the military drills with its alliance, South Korea.

North Korea also labelled the exercises was a “flagrant violation” of the process in the relation between North Korea, South Korea and the US. Furthermore, North Korea even gave a caution of taking more missiles tests after its fourth test on Tuesday to oppose to the drills.

However, the US National Adviser John Bolton asserted that its drills with South Korea are "consistent with the partnership we have with South Korea. North Korea has continued its exercises unabated. So, they don't really have a lot to complain about”. He also pointed out Kim Jong Un’s pledge of denuclearization in Singapore summit.
