Irish embassy sponsors conference to support NPOs

(VNF) -  A conference themed ‘How Doing Good is Good for Business’ will be held on June 28 in HCMC. The event will serve as the platform for businesses, community organisations and government agencies to seek collaboration opportunities in sustainable socio-economic development.

The conference will be held on June 28 at Park Hyatt Saigon, 2 Lam Son Square, District 1, HCMC. 

The conference is jointly organized by LIN Center for Community Development, the  Chamber of Commerce and Industry of France and Canada (CCIFV and CanCham), sponsored by the Embassy of Ireland. 

With the theme “Business Impact & Community Impact – Where to Meet?” , the conference will discuss and showcases corporate social responsibility/creating shared value (CSR/CSV) and sustainability models that build value and sustainable impact to the socio-economic development of Vietnam.

It also aims to encourage and enable businesses to continue to grow sustainably, strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders from business, nonprofit, and government .

The event will bring together 40 experienced, inspiring speakers and facilitators, coming from diversified backgrounds in Vietnam and overseas, including Chairman & CEO, KPMG Vietnam & Cambodia, Warrick Cleine; Ambassador of Ireland to Vietnam, Cáit Moran.

Business Impact & Community Impact – Where to Meet? is expected to gather 200+ international and local representatives from business, NGOs/NPOs, researchers, academia, media, and government, who share common development goals, that create a safe living and working space for all, and contribute to sustainable socio-economic development.
