On Sunday, the head of IRGC Aerospace Force Amirali Hajizadeh has warned “Everybody should know that all American bases and their aircraft carriers in a distance of up to 2,000 kilometres around Iran are within the range of our missiles”.

He added “Iran has always been ready for a “full-fledged” war”, as Iran’s Tasnim news agency reported.

He said as a response to the accusation of the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo that Iran got involved to support the Yemen’s Iran – aligned Houthi group in the attack of Saudi Aramco oil facilities

Pompeo had written on his Twitter on Saturday (September 14) that “Tehran is behind nearly 100 attacks on Saudi Arabia while Rouhani and Zarif pretend to engage in diplomacy".

Moreover, Pompeo had asserted "Amid all the calls for de-escalation, Iran has now launched an unprecedented attack on the world's energy supply. There is no evidence the attacks came from Yemen".

The spokesman of Iranian Foreign Ministry, Abbas Mousavi had also called the US’s words “Such useless accusations... are meaningless and not comprehensible and are pointless”.

The Saudi state – owned oil company had been exploded by drones which damaged facilities on Saturday (September 14). Afterward, the Yemen’s Houthi rebels, known as being backed by Iran to fight against the Yemeni government, supported by Saudi – led coalition.

This attack caused the decrease of Saudi Arabia’s oil output to 50% or more than 5 million barrels a day.
