The show is inspired by a rhapsody of colours with Sri Lankan handloom fabric by Sri Lankan designer Dhamique Amarasekara.

This is a unique fashion collaboration between Sri Lanka and Vietnam.

The event showcased the perfect blend of Vietnam – Sri Lanka fashion, spectacularly through the delivery of talented models, representing a wide range of ages, skin colours and shapes.

...and many Ambassadors, representatives of international organisations in Vietnam attend the event.

The Sri Lankan weaving industry has a history of nearly three thousand years, and even today Sri Lankan hand loom products portray their rich heritage and cultural diversity in their designs and technologies.

The event, Sri Lanka and Vietnam Celebrating Friendship through Fashion, is part of farewell activities for Ambassador Hasanthi Dissanayake (blue, center) during her term in Vietnam.
