Homeland Spring 2018 to take place in Hanoi

(VNF) – The Homeland Spring 2018 programme themed “Vietnam – Bright future” will be held on February 7, 2018 in the National Convention Center, Hanoi.

The event will be held by the the State Commission for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and the Hanoi city People’s Committee.

Homeland Spring is an annual programme specially organized for overseas Vietnamese to enjoy the atmosphere of Tet (Lunar New Year) in homeland. Last year, it was held in HCM.City and attracted around 1,000 participants.

President Tran Dai Quang, leaders of the Central Party, the State, Hanoi city’s municipal authorities and leaders of Ministries, Departments, Sectors at central and local level will join the celebration with Vietnamese overseas people.

Similar to previous years, the Homeland Spring will feature various traditional cultural activities and arts performances by renowned artists from Vietnam and abroad.

The State Commission for Overseas Vietnamese (SCOV) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued Official Dispatch 95/UBNV-V2 on reporting to register to attend the Homeland Spring Program 2018.

Accordingly, the organizing board of Homeland Spring 2018 welcomes interested overseas Vietnamese to register for participation with the representative offices of Vietnam in their host countries or the SCOV (contact information as below):
