Cuban TV filming about Fidel footprint in Vietnam

(VNF) - In order to enhance the good traditional friendship between the two countries Vietnam - Cuba, the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television (ICRT) has sent a film crew to Vietnam to carry out documenting the achievements of innovation, the development of all aspects of Vietnam, reflecting the new look of the regions previously visited by Cuban leader Fidel Castro.

As expected, the film crew will film in Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Hoi An, Quang Tri, Quang Nam and Quang Binh. Each place is associated with the good tradition of the two countries, and is associated with the footprint of Fidel Castro during his visit to Vietnam.

In Haiphong, the film crew made a scene at Hai Phong port, where the ships transported weapons and food to the South, where aid from the Soviet Union and Cuba were sent to. In Quang Binh, the delegation will visit Vietnam – Cuba Friendship Hospital. They will also follow the road 1 and 9 (Quang Tri ), wartime strategic paths that Fidel visited.

About the characters, the crew interviewed Mr. Nguyen Dinh Bin, who  had many times working as an interpreter for Fidel Castro; interviewing former Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan on Vietnam's experience on development achievements  after 42 years of reform. The crew also visited and worked with the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association, interviewing historical witnesses, who contributed to the development of the traditional friendship Vietnam - Cuba.

Yoanna Cervera Hernandez, the Director, said before coming to Vietnam, she has thoroughly researched the country. However, when she came here, she went from surprise to surprise. The documentary footage that she is currently performing is broadcast live in Cuba on ICRT and a local television station where she works. She hoped they would give viewers a fresh look at Vietnam, where Fidel visited her - how it has evolved, the cultural differences of Vietnam and Cuba.

Expected, the film crew will work in Vietnam from December 3 to 17.
